Title boxing

Boxing is one of the oldest forms of competition and dates back to about 1750 B.C. It is a sport where the boxers wear padded gloves and it involves attack and defense using the fists. Fighters fight for twelve rounds which are all three minutes long in a roped- off square called a ring. Title boxing has started in about 1839. Boxing was included as an Olympic Sport in 1904.

Boxing was legalized in 1896 in New York and many states followed. Boxing was used as part of training in the military to establish strength and discipline. Boxing underwent a lot development and different title championships can be fought. Title boxing has become a major event with great financial advantage to trainers, promoters and fighters.

Boxing consist of various sections such as women’s boxing, which has only currently developed into a more professional career for women, amateur boxing and professional boxing. All of these sections are divided into heavy- middle- and light weight division in which participants can take part. Title boxing is done in every division. There are thus light, heavy and middle weights in each category.
